Anamaria Marinca bio
Anamaria Marinca is a Romanian actress. Her debut on screen was in The Channel 4 film Sex Traffic where she received the British Academy Television Award for Best actress. She speaks French, German, English as well as Romanian fluently. Her mother was a violinist and her father is a theater instructor in one of Romania's top theater schools. The actress won the Best Female Actor Award for the Year 2000 at the Gala for Young Actors in Mangalia. It was the European Film Promotion Board named her as a European Shooting Star in 2008. She was a teacher of the University of Fine Arts Music and Drama George Enescu, Iasi for about four years. bAnamaria Marinca is an Romanian actress who was born on the 01st of April 1978. Her debut film Sex Traffic, won the award of British Academy Television for Best Actress. She also won numerous awards for her part in the movie 4 Months 3 Weeks 2 Days, a Romanian film that was recognized by the London Film Critics as the most acclaimed film of the year. The actress acted as a Romanian actor in Cristian Mungiu's film 4 luni3 saptamani si 2 zile (four months, three weeks and two three weeks and two days) and was presented with an award of the Palme d'Or and other prizes during the 2007 Cannes Film Festival. In addition, she appeared in Francis Ford Coppola's film Youth Without Youth. She appeared as Yasim Awar in the BBC's 5 episode The Last Enemy miniseries. Marinca made an appearance in The Romanian drama Boogie and Oliver Hirschbiegel's award-winning Five Minutes of Heaven. In the feature film Fury (2014) the actress played Irma, a German woman, who served as Emma's aunt.
